The picturesque Prahova Valley leads through a wide, deep cleft carved into the granite rocks of the southern Carpathian mountains by the swift flowing Prahova River.

A corridor linking Transylvania and Walachia, the Valley is an ancient route traversed by rail as well as a major highway. Enjoy the Prahova Valley’s breathtaking scenery and pervasive sense of history, which make this one of Romania’s major tourist attractions. This tour includes a visit to Peles Castle, the most beautiful castle in Romania, the historic residence of Romanian kings, as well as a visit to Bran Castle, mythical residence of Count Dracula. Lunch will be served in a wine cellar, and includes tasting of some of the best Romanian wines.
